Analysis of Connection Method of Steel Strip Pipe

There are several ways to connect steel strip and pipe:
Hot melt extrusion welding, electric melt tape connection, heat shrinkable pipe (belt) connection and clamp connection can be used for the connection of_spiral ports. When connecting, the spiral ports of the pipe should be used to minimize the gap.
_1. Hot-melt extrusion welding connection should be heated by special extrusion welding tools and extrusion welding rods to melt the adjacent pipe ends into a whole polyethylene material, which is a rigid connection method.
_2. The connection of the electric melt Belt should be made by heating the polyethylene layer embedded in the inner surface of the electric melt belt to melt the polyethylene layer between the electric melt belt and the pipe trough into a whole, which is a rigid connection method.
_3. The connection of heat-shrinkable tube (belt) should be heated by flame to make the hot melt adhesive on the inner surface of the shrinkable tube (belt) adhere to the outer surface of the tube; the heat-shrinkable tube (belt) forms a constant wrapping force after cooling and solidification, which belongs to the rigid connection method.
_4. The clamp connection should be bolted to fasten two semi-circular outer sleeves, so that the adjacent pipe ends can be tightened, and the rubber plug between sleeves and pipe walls can meet the sealing requirements, which is a rigid connection method.
Attention: The above connection methods can be combined to meet the design requirements. When rigid connection is adopted in pipeline, measures such as timely soil covering should be taken to reduce the longitudinal shrinkage of pipeline.
Measures should be taken to prevent pipeline from floating during construction in rainy season. When the bubbles are found after the installation of the pipeline without covering the soil, the elevation of the center and bottom of the pipeline should be re-measured and inspected. If displacement, floating, drawing and other phenomena are found, they should be handled in time.
